A leading multinational telecoms company have a great job opportunity for a Senior Manager: Business Talent Partner (Group Finance & Risk) to join their team in Johannesburg. You will ensure that the global HR frameworks, strategies and services delivered by the Group HR Community are relevant, applicable and value-generating for the business unit. You will also deliver meaningful human capital insights and champion the organisational values and culture within the business unit

Your key job responsibilities as the Senior Manager: Business Talent Partner (Group Finance & Risk) job in Johannesburg will include:

- Source, induct, and manage talent in accordance with legislative guidelines
- Continually develop a culture of strong collaboration and effective team working
- Ensure open communication channels with staff and implement change management interventions where necessary
- Provide definition of roles, responsibilities, individual goals and performance objectives for the team
- Set key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance feedback through a well-defined and implemented performance review program
- Develop and implement a training plan in order to build and develop skills within the team
- Performance manage resources in accordance with HR policy and legislation where necessary
- Actively participate in leadership team and develop skills of own team
- Act as the single strategic point of contact and advisor for Group Finance & Risk Business Units Leaders
- Partner with the Group Finance & Risk Business Unit Leadership to develop and implement specific talent strategies, plans and solutions that cater to the strategic requirements
- Based on deep knowledge of the back office operations of Group Finance,
- Business Risk Management, Internal Audit Risk & Compliance develop future-ready workforce plans that help build a healthy talent pipeline whilst preparing
- HR services teams and Global HR Expertise Verticals to provide due support

Requirements for this Senior Manager: Business Talent Partner (Group Finance & Risk) job in Johannesburg:

- Minimum of 4 year tertiary degree (specialization in Business Management/Commerce/ Human Resources/Behavioural Sciences as appropriate)
- MBA or Masters (advantageous)
- Relevant certification / accreditation / membership with professional body relevant to HR Operations and Service Management (Advantageous)
- Manager track record of 5 years or more
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in business partnering involving Talent,
- Learning and Organization management in the Telecommunication Sector (experiences include workforce planning, operating model and organization structure, performance planning etc.)
- Demonstrated experience partnering with clients on solving business/operational issues through the application of progressive people systems (Human Resources) practices
- Worked across diverse cultures and geographies
- Experience working in a medium to large organization
