Provide support to Chief Compliance Officer; Institutionalise and shape a strong ethical and compliance culture, approaches and practices; Champion initiatives that foster an ethical and compliance culture; Monitor ethical climate, culture, practices and decisions; Provide a neutral and objective space for people to voice potential unethical behaviour, processes and practices; Enable resolution of reported ethical transgressions in a standard and shared manner which complies with legislation; Support the provision of Ethics and Compliance Assurance and Governance; Manage the Compliance Function; Monitor compliance levels and report instances of non-compliance to the Risk Social and Ethics Committee and Audit Committee; Provide value-adding ethics information and reporting to management, the Risk Social and Ethics Committee and the Audit Committee.

Post Graduate qualification in law/or other related field; Certified Ethics Officer, as certified by the Ethics Institute of South Africa; A Compliance Professional CProf (SA); Minimum 12 years’ experience within compliance, ethics and regulatory affairs; 5-8 years working knowledge of the philosophical roots of ethics, ethical reasoning and ethical decision making; Familiarity with classical moral theory (ethics as a discipline).
