Senior Manager: Operations
Introduction

My client in the Banking Industry is looking for the Senior Manager (Operations) to manage companies procedures, system, processes and policies) and daily perfomance to achieve objectives and operational strategy and operational strategy
Description
Responsibilities:

Develop policies and procedures for operational processes and systems
Ensure that the company is in compliance with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal compliance, operational risks, and environmental policies
Manage all operational evaluations, assessments, audit findings and implementation thereof and follow up on corrective actions
Develop plans for managing, directing, and monitoring the operational areas
Evaluate existing procedures and systems in all companies operational areas propose replacement of outdated processes,procedures and systems to ensure a higher degree of efficiency and cost savings
Plan, develop and implement a strategy for companie’s Operations
Participation in product and business development
Develop, prepare and manage SLA’s with external and internal stakeholders
Responsible for management reporting (timely and accurately)
Ensure efficient management of function and resources in accordance with the stipulations of the PFMA, fraud prevention and risk management principles, legislation, agreements, company policies, practices, procedures, regulations
Requirements:

Appropriate Financial,Business, Banking Degree (NQF 7)
MBA/Post Graduate or higher qualification an advantage
4-6 years of high level of operations and management experience in a banking/ financial services environment
Project Management knowledge and experience
Experience in developing business plans
Knowledge of Financing methods
Good understanding of banking processes and procedures
Practical experience in research, market analysis and report writing
Experience with system alignment and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
Company policies, processes, procedures
Knowledge of the companies Act, Banking Act, Reserve Bank Act, BCoE Act, EE Act, Labour Law, Skills Development Act, PFMA
