Senior Master Data Planner (Chemistry and Advanced Excel skills)

A Pharmaceutical Company based in Midrand, has a vacancy for a Senior Master Data Planner.

The person will be responsible for demand planning, sourcing, and procurement and expediting of stock from approved suppliers, to fulfil customer/market requirements and maintain high stock levels.
To manage suppliers to ensure adherence to the agreed service level and prices
Monthly review of supper performance; continual improvement in supply chain processes.
To effectively manage the financial aspects associated with stock / inventory to ensure optimum investment in stock, cash-flow and minimum stock write-offs.
To effectively communicate with customers, sales and marketing with regards to stock availability, expected delivery date, reason for back orders and service level expectations; actively updating/communicating latest expected delivery date to customers and maintaining reasons for back orders on the system.
Managing the local production process through production planning, sourcing of the correct quality raw materials, approving the QC results of the raw materials, where applicable, maintaining the correct info on the product labels and approval of certificates of analysis for each batch packed.
To act as single point of contact in SA for the data team, co-ordinating all required data entry at local level and training of local users in master-file.
Annual standard costing process.
To co-ordinate material creation, change and deletions of all products for Life Sciences, mass upload creations for Performance Materials, and to ensure the accuracy of master files on an longing basis to ensure an effective ERP system, incl. the handing of errors and to globally used specific data fields and value chain data fields, incl. local cost data.

Requirements:
Completed BSc Degree (Life Sciences) - Must have above average Chemistry results
Must have Laboratory experience
Must have Pharmaceutical experience
Must have strong Procurement experience
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables and Formulas) – non-negotiable
