Summary
We are recruiting for a top level Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering department.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills, capabilities and personal traits:

Skills and Capabilities:
• Tertiary Engineering qualification (Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred)
• Knowledge and experience in the design of bottle filling equipment (including level fillers, pump fillers, weigh fillers, flowmeter fillers), capping equipment, bottle handling equipment, and conveyers.
• Knowledge and experience in the principles of operation, application, integration and design of liquid packaging systems (lines).
• At least 10 years’ experience and a proven track record in the design & development of liquid packaging systems (lines) & equipment.
• Computer literacy: MS Word, MS Excel, 2D CAD, 3D CAD.
• Above average problem solving skills.

• Ability to stay calm and apply logical thinking in stressful situations.
• Ability to multi task and prioritise urgent matters.
• Passionate about mechanical design engineering and willingness to “get hands dirty” when needed.
• Ability to think creatively and come up with inventive designs.
• Willingness to travel locally and abroad and commit extra effort when deadlines need to be met.
• Good communicator and a team player.

Key Responsibilities:
• To perform system design for new projects.
• To provide technical leadership to designers in the Engineering department.
• To confirm the technical feasibility of solutions as offered to customers.
• To provide technical guidance and support to various stakeholders when required.
