Salary: R700 000 – R750 000 CTC p.a. negotiable based on experience.

A leading supplier of packaging solutions based in Paarl, has an opportunity for a qualified SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER to join their team at their Head Office. The successful incumbent will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Electrical Design and have excellent knowledge of Electrical of Design.

Skills and Capabilities:
• Tertiary Engineering qualification (Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred)
• Knowledge and experience in the design of bottle filling equipment (including level fillers, pump fillers, weigh fillers, flowmeter fillers), capping equipment, bottle handling equipment, and conveyers.
• Knowledge and experience in the principles of operation, application, integration and design of liquid packaging systems (lines).
• At least 10 years’ experience and a proven track record in the design & development of liquid packaging systems (lines) & equipment.
• Computer literacy: MS Word, MS Excel, 2D CAD, 3D CAD.
• Above average problem solving skills.
