Duties

• Clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes
• Analyzing business requirements
• Converting project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to detailed logical flow charts for coding into computer language
• Developing and writing computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information
• Design, write, update, and maintain computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs, such as performing calculations, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment
• Compile and write documentation of program development
• Conduct testing of programs and software applications
• Define and resolve problems in running computer programs

 
Qualification and experience

• Matric, IT Degree / Diploma
• 5 years development experience
• Experience in the following technologies & design patterns: C#.NET, VB.NET, WCF, WPF, .NET, Framework 3.5 and 4.0, SQL, Web services, ASP.Net, T-SQL, MVC3, SQL 2000 – 2008, SQL Stored Procedures, SSIS and DTS Packages, Windows Service Applications
• VB6 experience would be beneficial
• Source Control System such as Subversion.
• Programming skills
• Software architecture and design
• Project team management
