Leading Telecommunications Group based in Midrand are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join their converged solutions team.

Your skills and experience are required to assist with support, maintain and report on all design, build and run phases of the multi datacenter and multi-tenant MSP/ISP. Ability to troubleshoot all of the core systems deployed inside of the datacenter and escalate to vendor technical support when required.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE:

Matric coupled with IT Degree is required
CCIE engineer or equivalent.
ISP level routing experience
VCP Certification understanding and experience of VSSP
Tertiary qualification in IT or similar will be beneficial
Knowledge in Storage Platforms, Virtualization, Computer Platform, Storage Fabric, backup Strategies and topologies, cloud technologies and troubleshooting skills, Fortinet Firewalls

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Core Network level support 3 Years
5-10 years ISP network support & systems experience
5-10 years Linux experience
5 years’ experience in cloud computing, VoIP, attending to billing queries and putting architecture together
