I’m looking for a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for a fixed term of 12 months with an ICT Company in the city of Cape Town!

As a Qualified Database Administrator (DBA), you will implement and maintain the Oracle database!

Must Haves To Include:

Administers Oracle database server
Knowledge of Oracle Tools & Utilities
Oracle& Golden Gate configuration and architecture,
Veridata design and support;
Oracle& Golden Gate Replication operations support;
Oracle Veridata Operations support services;
Oracle Fusion Middleware Development and support services

BONUS to know the following:

Oracle& Golden Gate Replication;
Oracle Veridata;
Oracle Fusion Middleware

Key Duties to Include:

Installing and upgrading the Oracle server and application tools
Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system
Creating primary database storage structures (tablespaces) after application developers have designed an application
Creating primary objects (tables, views, indexes) once application developers have designed an application
Modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers
