Leading Group of Companies based in Roodepoort is seeking Senior Oracle Developers to join their growing team

Your skills and experience are reqiured to ensure IT systems are developed and maintained in accordance to technical specifications and in line with required development quality and standards
•5-6 years’ experience in Oracle programming, understanding of database design and system analysis.
•Oracle certifications, • Oracle 10g or higher, • Oracle Forms, • PL/SQL, • Oracle JDeveloper, • Toad.
•Experience in Finance or an Accounting degree will be advantageous
•Knowledge of medical aid industry will be advantageous.

Experience in Web Services, SOA, Java (Eclipse, NetBeans), object orientation (advantageous)

Compliance and Risk Management:
•Defined legal, statutory and regulatory compliance is maintained at the required standards
•Operational risk and governance structures, measures and frameworks are complied with and necessary action is taken to address issues, when necessary

Continuous improvement:
•Design, code, debug and correct programs to ensure business requirements are met.
•Deliver projects according to the agreed timelines, requirements and quality
•Develop and implement support/production calls according to business requirements, quality and within the service level agreements
•Design quality technical Specification according to standards and store the documents on the Helios project repository

Financial Management:
•· Contribute to cost savings within the department to assist with financial goals and targetsOperating Model:
•Meet delivery objectives through working with other team members within and linked to the department / project
•Co-operates and works well with others in the pursuit of team goals
•Contribute to the building and maintaining of a productive working environment

•Compliance to change management and SDLC processes
•Deliver in a manner that supports and meets code development quality standards and meets the defined departmental priorities
•Develop and design according to oracle programming best practice.
