Senior Pastry Chef – Corporate Catering

Our client requires a qualified & experienced Senior Pastry Chef to undertake working in this busy kitchen which operates particularly in, but not limited to, the Corporate/Functions Catering Sector.
Young and creative we are looking for someone with fresh ideas who is willing to take up the challenge.
Applicants must have full knowledge of including but not limited to:
• Prepare pastries, baked goods and deserts for the various food & beverage outlets in the hotel as well as banquet functions
• Assist and help in the coordination of all pastry menu planning and implementation
• Ensure food standards and presentation are maintained and always improved
• Staff Management
• Ordering/Receiving
• Stock Rotation/Control
• Portion Control
Candidate Profile:
• Culinary and Pastry Qualification is essential
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a luxury establishments kitchen at a CDP/Sous Pastry position level
• Pastry experience and expertise is essential
• Creative, flair for food design and passion for culinary arts
• Dedicated, attention to detail and able to cope under pressure
• Fluency in English language
• Flexible work schedule, team player, organized and motivated for ongoing professional development
• Stable work history – no job hoppers will be entertained!
