VACANCY: SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Process engineering design
2. Provide cost effective solutions
3. Represent the company during technical and commercial meetings
4. Support the design department on technical presentations
5. Lead design reviews in the design office
6. Mentoring of process engineers
7. Preparation of process designs and technical proposals
8. Leading engineering team on engineering studies and industrial tenders – interacting with mechanical, draughting, civil, electrical and control systems engineering disciplines.
9. Responsible for technical review of clients information and specifications.
10. Preparation of technical specifications of equipment for costing purposes.
11. Technical evaluation of vendor proposals on equipment and subcontracts
12. Keep up to date in latest technologies, design tools & guidelines and developments within the company and in the local and international water / waste water treatement fields.
13. Conduct plant audits and trouble shoot
14. Writing of technical reports.

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Degree of National Diploma in Chemical or Process Engineering or similar qualification
2. ECSA registration will be an added advantage
3. 15+ years experience as a process engineer in turnkey projects / water and waste water treatment or similar fields.
4. Strong technical background and understand of water and waste water treatment processes
5. Proven leadership and mentoring skills
6. Good communication and communication skills
7. Verbal and written communication skills
8. Be computer literate (MS Projects & MS Office)
