The post is responsible for the overall product management of PCCWG’s Layer-1 Transmission and Ethernet Services, to meet the product P&L, manage product cost book, prepare business case for capacity upgrade, lead and drive internal parties on network augment and coverage expansion projects

The job:

• Analyze the product revenue and costing to prepare periodic P&L forecast report
• Improve product costing by identifying cost saving areas, lead and drive costing saving projects
• Prepare business cases for management approval on capacity upgrade and network equipment expansion projects
• Review / update Product Cost Books
• Monitor the performance and trend of Offnet international connectivity business, develop and maintain a database to provide regular financial analysis reports to management
• Support Alliance Team to develop and rollout network interconnection (NNI) for IPLC and Ethernet Services to enhance the service coverage and drive for bilateral businesses
• Act as subject matter expert to support Sales / Presales to win large and complex customer bids / RFP on the supported products
• Regular update product presentation, T&C and SLA and sales kits.
• Perform sales training and respond to marketing as well as customer queries for product information / resolution of problems

The successful candidate will have:

• A University Degree holder or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or related discipline
• At least 5 years experiences in the Information, Communications and Technology industry (telco experience desired)
• Knowledge of submarine cable systems, transmission and Ethernet technologies
• Experience in product management in carrier environment
• Strong results orientation, with a successful track record of timely achievement of aggressive goals within budget
• Self-motivated, creative, initiative and analytical with good business judgment/acumen
• Good presentation skills and interpersonal skill with ability to mobilize a global cross department virtual team
• Good command of English, both verbal and written
• International Travel is required
