Senior Project Manager – Plant & Surface Infrastructure (Mining)

Define the Work Methodology for Project Controls, Project Support Services, Infrastructure and Plant Engineering Execution
Reviewing and approve project documentation (Scope of Work, PFD’s & P&ID’s)
Leading the EPCM Contractor to achieve all goals
Managing the Detailed Engineering
Monitoring the design and construction against the execution plan
Setting up structure to monitor performance of EPCM, major contractors and Quality standards

Sound commercial acumen in contract management
Sound understanding of engineering and construction processes and systems
Sound technical design experience

Qualifications:
BSc / BEng Chemical or Mechanical
Post graduate qualifications in Business Management and or Project Management will be advantageous
Must have or meet the requirements to obtain PMI/PMP Certification
Minimum 15 years’ experience in Process Plant Engineering and Project Management
Experience in Capital Project Management at a Senior level in multi-million dollar projects

Minimum 3 year contract to be based in Phalaborwa
Salary R1.5M negotiable + benefits (to be discussed if afforded an interview)
