Senior Project Manager – Sandton

Our large corporate client based in Sandton requires a Senior Project Manager who will lead, organise and plan software development projects to ensure the successful completion. 

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing monitoring, reporting and control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Management of project risks 
• Maintenance of project documents and report status
• Management of project resources.
• Train, lead and manage project team
• Management of project risks.
• Coordinating kick-off meetings 
• Manage meetings an minutes according to the schedule and format.
• Coordinating and conducting activities with the main stakeholders in order to obtain information and decisions 
• Scope change control
• Participate in internal forums to contribute to standards and methodology.
• Reviewing of peer project records.

Qualifications and Experience Required   

• IT or Business degree with a PM qualification 
• Programme qualification / honours / PMI accreditation (an advantage)
• 8 years’ experience with software development projects 
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall, SDLC Methodologies
• Enterprise PM Tools
• Business writing Skills
• Client Orientation
• Negotiation Skills
• People Management skills
• Assertiveness

Salary is negotiable on experience.
