Responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementation, management and continual improvement of a project office within the IT organization
- Project office duties include planning and coordination of resources to deploy any major releases within the predicted cost, time and quality estimates
- Snr project manager will be responsible for all transition planning and support activities and any related sub processes that enables the delivery of successful infrastructure and development projects
- Oversee and manage project office
- Coaching and mentoring other project managers and project coordinators
- Agreeing project objectives for all projects chartered
- Define stakeholders, responsibilities and resources available to the project
- Manage stakeholder expectations relevant to each project
- Project documentation such as risks, constrains and assumptions
- Coordination of activities and resources across multiple projects and resolve conflicts where required
- Monitoring project process and resources consumption, and initiate corrective action were required
- Maintain project register, project plans and associated project documentation
- Ensuring quality standards and goals of projects are met
- Day to day management of projects
- Work closely with technology leadership to develop and enhance services
- Effective and continuous communication to all stakeholders on project progress and action items
- Mange interdependencies between projects within the overall programme so as to manage the impact of change and ensure that critical success factors are met for the period as committed by technology leadership
- Implement agile project management methodology as appropriate
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in IT or similar
- Prince 2/PMBok/AGILE or similar certification
- 10 years + experience
- 4 year in relevant post
- IT infrastructure knowledge
