This position is ideal for an ambitious, self-motivated candidate with good Business analyst skills, data analyst and troubleshooting /problem solving skills, who is looking for the opportunity to prove his/her ability to deliver and succeed.

Technical Qualifications

• Hands on professional with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in Qlikview
• Strong knowledge on Qlikview server architecture and building QVD'S and QVW'S applying business rules and data validations
• Must have developed enterprise applications for use in production environments using Qlikview. Well versed with deployment methodologies
• Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation
• Ability to write complicated yet efficient SQL queries and stored procedures (3-5 years of experience)
• Knowledge of formal database architecture and design
• Advanced knowledge and use of Excel
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline

Responsibilities include

Reporting to the CIO – you will:

• Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data in Qlikview;
• Design, develop, and test Qlikview scripts to import data from source systems;
• Design, develop, and test Qlikview dashboards to meet customer requirements
• Participate in design workshops, providing technical insight and knowledge
• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
• Create and maintain technical design documentation
• Perform quality coding to business and technical specifications manage the Development of Qlikview models and Deployment of developments / Qlikview models

Competencies

• This candidate must have a – minimum 3 – 5 years’ Qlikview - SQL/ SSIS experience (preferably in a fmcg or retailing environment)
• Eager to learn
• Analytical
• Have a good business mind and Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team and independently when required
