SENIOR RISER ENGINEER (Could Be PE or CAPE TOWN) R Neg.
You will be responsible for Projects in Riser Engineering from proposal stage to final report, lead and manage a team of project engineers. A Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)/Technical or Commercial is essential. A min of 5 years experience in a technical capacity within an Industrial/Offshore environment with an additional 5 years in a leadership role. Total 8 years experience required including Project management, customer relationship management and employee management and development. A good knowledge of either Welding processes, NDT, Mechanical fitting within the Offhore Oil and Gas drilling environment being a significant benefit. Strong MS office essential. Must be able to control a project’s costing and budget, supply technical support to Riser engineers, supply customer quotes and proposals etc. Candidate with Leadership, Engineering knowledge, Project Management experience is required. Riser / Oilfield experience is a benefit.
