A leading consultancy in SA is currently looking for a Senior Road Design Engineer/Technologist to commence duties in their Gauteng branch as soon as possible.

The suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the head of the Road Planning and Design Division. Minimum requirements include a BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering; Professional Registration with ECSA; Post Graduate experience of at least 8 years in the design of freeways, interchanges, roads and streets; a sound knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil Designer. Candidates must also be familiar with geometric design standards of SANRAL and Local Government Departments and must have sound knowledge of road pavement materials. Duties will include: Team Member of road planning and design on designated projects; liaising with the divisional director as necessary; undertaking the planning and design of road and stormwater projects; client Liaison; preparing tenders for road contracts as required.
