Our Engineering Consulting clients is looking to employ a Senior Roads Engineer with minimum of 10+ years of experience for a permanent position in their Pietermaritzburg offices.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must have a minimum of a B Sc Eng or B Eng (Civil) and must be professionally registered as a Pr Eng.
Must also have:
• 10+ years’ experience in road design for both national and urban roads projects
• Experience on SANRAL projects
• Senior project management client liaison experience
• Experience in contract documentation, quantities and quality management
• Experience in training & management of junior staff.

Profile:

The main emphasis of this position is on roads construction including the full project lifecycle from tendering, multidisciplinary project management, and through to final completion.
Design ability on AutoCAD, Civil Designer, and/or Civils 3D experience is essential.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to supply traceable and contactable references.
A valid driver’s licence is essential.
