A Senior Safety Officer is urgently needed at a mining company based in Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating safety trends and provide training and coaching services to legal appointees.

Requirements include:

• National Diploma in Safety Management
• Blasting or Trade Certificate of Competency
• Quality Assurance, ISO 9001:2000 and ISO14 000
• SAMTRAC, Accident investigation Risk Assessment and COMSOC 1&2 will be required
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant Mining/Metallurgical Process/Engineering experience which should include developing, implementing, managing and auditing of safety
