SENIOR SAGE VIP / ESS PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR AND HR ASSISTANT

ESSENTIAL: Only CVs with SAGE VIP / ESS experience will be considered. Short listed applicants will undergo an advanced SAGE VIP / ESS test before any interviews are conducted.

Permanent, full time position
Location: Centurion, Gauteng
Salary: R30 000 to R40 000 – depending on experience
Requirements: The person appointed to this position will be accountable for providing accurate, timely and efficient full payroll services for a staff compliment of approx. 300 people, both for weekly wages and monthly salaried employees.
This will include, but will not be limited to the following:
• Processing salaries
• General / Basic changes on VIP
• Increases
• Telephone/Cell phone/ Medical deductions
• Claims / Overtime
• Insurance
• Provident fund / Group Life
• Loans / Sundry deductions / Fines
• Bonus Pay-outs, Incentives
• Canteen deductions
• Drawings Partners
• Medical aid premium changes
• New employees / Term employees
• Pay slips onto ESS
• Recons and reports for the financial manager
• Recon provident fund
• Recon Group Life
• Payments i.e. Garnishees, Iemas, Group life, Pr fund
• Payments PAYE/UIF/SDL
• Financial year end Audit
• Pro rata Payments
• Monthly VIP Backups
• Increase spreadsheets
• Increase letters to staff
• Bonus spreadsheets
• Bonus letters to staff
• Maintaining Bonus Tax throughout the year
Tax
• Year-end tax submissions
• Mid-year tax submissions
• IRP5’s on to ESS
Medical
• Appointments for medical aid workshops / year end renewal training etc.
• Medical queries i.e. plan changes, premiums, cost implications, etc.
• Recons on a monthly basis
Provident Fund
• Withdrawals
• Monthly schedules to momentum
• Recons on a monthly basis
HR duties will include, but will not be limited to the following:
• Recruitment for support staff positions
• Assessments
• New joiners/induction
• Terminations
• Administration of ESS i.e. leave, sick leave, reports
• Annual Equity reporting to Labour department
• OID submissions and annual reporting to the Workmans Compensation
• Organizing HR events
Core Competencies Required:
• A comprehensive knowledge of Sage VIP / ESS
• Excellent Excel Skills
• Good MS Office Skills
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• Work under pressure
