Looking for a Senior Sales Consultant for an Inbound Tour Company.

Understand and be able to do FIT, once-off groups as well as group series quotes

Do quotations independently

Negotiate specific rates for quotes within the target market

Ensure that professional, accurate and correct proposals and quotes go out to the market

Once quote sent to agent - identify what needed to get business from that agent (ask right questions & try to up sell)

Liaise with agents with regard to provisional bookings, alternatives, cost adjustments, etc.

Once quote is accepted, delegate work to operations consultant

Proofread documentation, brochure text, website content, etc. relevant to the specific agent

Sourcing of new agents and keeping good relations with existing agents

Continuously offering new products and ideas to existing and new agents

Marketing of products to specific markets

Pro-actively evaluating trends within market, including the research of opposition’s tours

Be up to date with all product content (venues, activities) and expectations from clients to whom these are sold

Ensure the delivery of high service levels from the team at all times / team quality control

Ensure expenses are kept to a minimum and understand income statements

Responsible for reporting to team leader and management
