My client part of a Local Hotel Group is looking for a Senior Sales Executive / Sales manager (corporate clients)- for their 4* property in Sandton. Requirements:
Grade 12 certificateTertiary Hospitality Diploma / Degree - preferredTertiary Sales and Marketing Diploma / Degree - preferredStrong computer literacy and experience in relevant computer programsStrong report writing ability3 - 5 years experience in corporate sales in the hospitality industry in the Sandton Market (Desirable) and an in depth understanding of the hotel industry in Sandton would be an advantage.Applicants should be well spoken, able to work under pressure, have good customer relations and communication skills, basic financial acumen.Own reliable transport and valid drivers licenseExcellent sales, negotiation and closing skills
General Outline of Duties
Visit potential customers for new businessProvide customers with quotationsNegotiate the terms of an agreement and close salesGather market and customer information and provide feedback on buying trendsRepresent your organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrationsIdentify new markets and business opportunitiesRecord sales and send copies to the sales officeReview your own sales performance
