A leading automotive manufacturing and supply company is looking for a suitably experienced and qualified Sales Manager – Commercial & Off Highway to join their dynamic team. This is a senior level position. BEE candidates preferred, however not exclusively.
Description –

• Responsible for the sales management of all the companies product portfolio’s within the Commercial & Off Highway channels nationally. This includes employee management and motivation, delivering on sales revenue budgets and building a sustainable business unit.

Main Tasks / Responsibilities:
• To achieve revenue and margin budgets of all product portfolio’s in the Commercial and Off Highway channels
• To grow new customers and markets within the Commercial and Off Highway channels
• To effectively manage and motivate reporting staff
• To analyze customer purchases and create and implement effective sales strategies to support revenue
• To ensure active and accurate use of CRM by yourself and reporting staff
• To fully understand the customer and channel dynamic and to work with this dynamic in creating long term relationships and brand support
• To manage financial expenditure in line with revenue achievement
• To represent the company at all market related events and activities
• To effectively communicate new products and solutions into the market and ensure customer buy-in
• To liaise with Marketing and Demand Planning Manager regarding product demand forecasting and supply
• To continually look for routes to markets that will strengthen product lines within the Commercial & Off Highway channels
• To conduct quarterly reviews with all key accounts
• To gain and provide the Company with market intelligence
• Effective and accurate reporting in line with business requirements

Minimum requirements –

• Bachelors degree in Business or Sales Management
• Minimum of 3 years sales in Commercial or Off Highway markets
• Computer literacy
