Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales strategy
• Manage sales activities of sales team in Cape Town.
• Manage relationships with key customers and principals.
• Manage sales pricing and margins effectively and timeously and to budget requirements.
• Report on monthly sales performance of division.
• Assist in driving pipe line and key project across the business.
• Manage inventory within company targets.
• Work with technical team to assist in product development initiatives and customer product support.
• Prepare sales budget annual as required as well as forecasts..
• Identify opportunities for increasing sales.
• Negotiate sales contract with customers.
• Work with supply chain and operations team to optimize service levels.

Qualifications & Experience
• Matric / Grade 12.
• Tertiary qualification B Com / Food Science preferable.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales Manager or Key Account Manager role.
• Previous sales or technical experience in Food / Sauces is preferred.
• Required to travel nationally.
• Good understanding of financial principles ie: income statement, debtors and stock working capital.
