Senior Sales Manager

R800 000 p.a. + performance bonus

Top-end fresh produce producer and supplier to restaurants, fast food outlets, wholesalers and chain stores across South Africa seeks experienced Senior Sales Manager with ability to move to Sales Director in coming years.

Requirements:

• Matric plus tertiary qualification in sales/marketing
• Minimum 5 yrs exp perishable product sales is a must
• Must have proven sales team leadership
• Between the ages of 30 and 45
• Bilingual, additional South African languages are beneficial
• Hunter personality
• Established contacts in the fresh product market
• Computer literate – Pastel advantageous

Job Requirements

• Wide variety of liaison with clients i.e. Retailers, wholesalers, agents, Restaurants, Pizza shops, etc.
• Growing national footprint
• Marketing and sales of exports to neighbouring countries.
• Marketing on a national level.
• Liaison with warehouses and stock management.
• Be familiar with quality requirements such as, Haccp, GlobalGap and GFSI.
• Set up and manage budgets.
• Reporting to Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
• Keeping of statistics regarding large clients.
• The ability and desire to grow into top management.
• Must be willing to travel to neighbouring provinces and countries when necessary
