PBT Group has a requirement for a senior level SAS Developer. Qlikview
experience would be beneficial.

Duties

Extract data from various sources and convert it into meaningful information that can enhance the effectiveness of business decisions.
Develop reports of a strategic, tactical or operational nature as required.
Develop high-level analytical reports in order to respond to business current needs.
On-going production of MIS outputs and reports to ensure consistent information supply in therequired format / frequency.
Liaison, consultancy and relationship building with internal clients, ensuring their information requirements are satisfied.
Involvement in new projects, design and develop Business Intelligence solutions in line with business requirements.
Service ad-hoc requests for information from clients within the required timeframe and specification.
Identify and leverage possible areas of optimisation to enhance the organisation’s service offering
Management of existing reports.

Requirements:

Business Intelligence experience
Solid Base SAS Development knowledge (5+? years’ experience in SAS development)
Qlikview experience
Extensive Data Warehousing knowledge
Data modelling skills would be beneficial
Experience in Short Term Insurance Environment and especially direct insurance would be a huge advantage.
Experience in SAS Stored Process Server, Web Report Studio, Di Studio and LSF would be a great advantage (Must have experience in at least some of these).
UNIX experience would also be a benefit
