Leading and ever-growing company is urgently seeking to secure a SENIOR SECURITY SPECIALIST to provide a security strategy that enables IS to deliver safe and secure systems and services which ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of data to meet strategic and operational
objectives of business, which will ensure proper and authorised access profiles.

Specific Outcomes - Define and implement security strategy (SAP Authorisations)
- Develop and publish information security policies and procedures
- Organise independent assessments including internal audit
- Comment on and propose mitigating actions to address IS security audit findings and exception reports
- Identify non-compliance
- Develop, discuss, agree and implement risk mitigation plans
- Develop and agree information security continuous improvement plans
- Develop, publish and update IS security documents
- Communicate IS related security issues to raise awareness in IS and the business of security risk areas
- Provide security training to IS department and business
- Provide input to service level manager for security SLAs
- Define and agree security target maturity levels, benchmarks and standards - Identify and implement best practice security technologies as appropriate
- Implement and maintain technical procedural controls to protect information flows across the networks
- Monitor security management processes
- Provide information security related deliverables to projects and significant work items
- Manage IS security projects and significant work items
- Develop and grow project management skills
- Identify security implications/risks of projects to be included in the project activities (particularly high risks)
- Sign off on any new item or changes to the environment to ensure security impacts have been assessed
- Design solutions for security tools
- Define, monitor and measure performance of security management processes
- Sign off to ensure that all security items have been satisfactorily addressed prior to approval of service acceptance checklist
- Perform standard process ownership activities for Information Security related processes
- Ensure security management processes integrate with the overall architecture framework
- Security monitoring to enable early detection/prevention of threats and vulnerabilities
- Perform periodic security testing
- Implement corrective actions for identified security weaknesses and incidents
- Manage user accounts and related privileges
- Perform regular reviews of user acceptance and privileges
- Participate in knowledge-sharing and skills transfer within team
- Foster relationship-building within team
- Act as coach to peers

Education & Experience Required Degree in Information Management
- Must have SAP Authorisation (GRC v10)
- Specialist experience in Process management/ project management.
- Specialist Understanding of security / IT processes & Technology areas and how they interrelate.
- Operational experience of Understanding of the business
