ENVIRONMENT:

A leading investment group seeks the expertise of a SharePoint Architect. You are required to have strong experience of development and administration of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016 as well as strong understanding of ADFS and other technologies required to make SharePoint available in a SSO.

DUTIES:

Provide Level 3 support for the SharePoint platform, liaising with the Application Support team on more complex Incidents and Problems.
Perform system administration tasks as necessary to keep the platform in a healthy state for optimal performance (including Problem Management).
Work with business analysts and business stakeholders to analyse and document enhancements to existing SharePoint solutions, and translate these into specifications.
Develop enhancements and solutions using SharePoint and Nintex as required.
Review and QA work undertaken by the company’s third-party SharePoint partners/suppliers, to ensure that it adheres to the company’s architecture and development standards.
Provide technical consulting/design and implementation assistance to other projects for the integration of SharePoint with other platforms as required.
Help define and the governance and maintenance processes required to maintain the SharePoint environments in a good working order and ensure optimal system performance.
Assist with the change management of any operational process changes.

Mandatory responsibilities:

Ensuring timely completion of Compliance training
Ensuring that you maintain appropriate level of training and threshold competence levels
Ensuring you keep up to date on procedures and best practice relevant to your job responsibilities
Ensuring regulatory, client and other corporate records are maintained
Ensuring that firm and client data and property, including IT data, are properly protected and that advised best practices are followed to maintain confidentiality and security of all data
Reporting any possible and actual breaches, errors, or complaints
Reporting any possible concerns about conduct or unfair treatment of customers to Compliance
Reporting any suspicion that a client or employee may be involved in money laundering, fraud or other crime
Being alert to possible wider Compliance and Operational Risk issues within the general business

Non-mandatory responsibilities:

Ensuring that your team procedures are kept up-to-date
Ensuring that all changes in business practice are taken through the appropriate business forums
Ensuring that regulatory, client and other corporate reporting deadlines are met
Ensuring that if handling client monies and client assets that they are properly protected, recorded and reconciled
Maintaining “Chinese walls” / “ethical walls” with other parts of the company group and within the company under the inside information requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Technical Knowledge and Experience:

Strong experience of development and administration of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016, with SharePoint Online experience highly desirable.
Ability to troubleshoot SharePoint (and Nintex) system performance issues and perform efficient root cause analysis.
Ability to develop and enhance SharePoint solutions, with a specific focus on simple, light-weight solutions, that are easy to support.
Very good understanding of integration capabilities and options of SharePoint with other technologies.
Strong understanding of ADFS and other technologies required to make SharePoint available in a SSO (single sign-on) manner outside the corporate firewall.
Understanding of project management disciplines and methods, with the ability to work on several initiatives at the same time

System Skills:

Strong knowledge and experience of SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint 2016
Experience with SharePoint Online, and understanding of how hybrid Online and On-premise environments work.
Strong knowledge and experience of Nintex Workflow, and how it is configured to work with SharePoint.
Good understanding of how SharePoint (Online and on-premise) integrates with other Microsoft products (Office, OneDrive, Teams, etc.)
