JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT: To provide a business focused site administration function and service to the organization Building business unit. To facilitate and coordinate the implementation of and compliance to group and business unit policies on an ongoing basis.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
• The ability to create and implement sound site administration procedures.
• Ensures the continuous monitoring and enhancement to site administration procedures.
• Manage the site administration function across the Building business and ensure the correct resources are available and deployed to the various construction sites.
• To produce timely and reliable management information reports on a monthly basis.
• To ensure all costs are accurately accounted for on the various sites and if not, provide support to ensure the necessary accruals have been made.
• Offers professional judgment on site administration matters and contributes and supports the production and commercial teams.
• Contributes to the medium and long term strategic planning process of the organization.
• Implements and ensures adherence to corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls.
• Supporting the relevant sites and ensuring a streamlined process for the resolution of queries.
• Provide training to all administration staff to ensure up skilling takes place.


ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relevant Degree - B Com Accounts / Cost Management / or equivalent qualification.

EXPERIENCE:
• At least ten years related work experience in the construction sector.
• Cross border experience an added benefit.
• A willingness and availability to travel extensively.
• Buildsmart and T&A experience advantageous

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Previous experience in a site administration role.
• Strong technical financial and accounting skills
• Has previous exposure to tools and techniques for site administration and reporting
• Has the ability to work to deadlines, and adapt a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to communicate and build relationships with people at different levels
• Good understanding and utilisation of financial, marketplace, consumer and economic information
• Skilled in managing the flow of transactions in an integrated accounting function
• Strong organisational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
• Advanced computer skills using MS Office (Word, Excel), Access, other financial/accounting software as required for the position
