Senior Software Design Engineer
Interpret requirements and specifications;
Design, develop and test software applications (Linux/Windows) and embedded software (VxWorks or non OS);
Debug, fault find and perform release testing;
Ensure configuration system is up to date;
Generate data packs and design documentation
A Bachelor of Engineering degree in electronic or computer engineering with at least five years relevant work experience, of which two years should be in a digital design environment;
Experience in C/C++ is a requirement;
Experience in Qt library would be an advantage;
Knowledge of software and hardware design processes and methodlogies;
High computer literacy with knowledge of Windows and Linux;
Training or experience in the following is an advantage:
Hardware and software interfacing;
Development of signal processing algorithms;
Understanding of RF sub-systems;
Understanding of the implementation considerations for hardware and software;
Proven capability of document preparation
Salary is market related
