- We are looking for an experienced developer with at least 3 years development experience
- They have to be experienced in developing applications with a multi-tier architecture. (this means that 3 years of developing web sites is not adequate for our needs)
They must have made extensive use of MS SQL during these 3 years.
While this is largely a development role there will be a requirement for some customer facing skills when supporting customer development and understanding requirements for custom development.
As part of the above, own transport is required
All of our current development uses Microsoft tools and a good understanding of the Microsoft development environment and developer tools is critical
The above requirements are our non-negotiable requirements. Below are some nice to haves that would give an applicant an advantage.
Our development is done using VB, experience with VB is preferred but not critical. A skilled developer can move between languages.
We are moving into the cloud space and any experience using Azure or other cloud based tools would be an advantage - Up to now, all our development has been using Microsoft. We are starting development with Android devices and any experience with Android would be an advantage
