Senior Software Developer needed for a well-established company based in Pretoria

Purpose of Job / Position:

• The analysis and design of systems, and the development and testing of a solution

 
Requirements:

• Information Technology or Computer Science degree preferred
• At least three years IT development experience
• Knowledge of legal and personnel issues
• High degree of IT literacy and advanced understanding of IT systems

Financial Management:

• Provision of accurate time forecasts for projects
• Job cards completed and signed by customer
• Timesheets and expense claims captured by required date

Business Process Management:
Governance:

• Ensure that project activities comply with required and expected standards (SLA, ISMS, SDLC, project management, etc.)
• Provide required progress reports to Management
• Change control procedure adherence
• Compliance to Corporate Governance framework

Operational:

• Accurate analysis of business & technical requirements
• Functional Design that meets requirements
• Development of system that meets customer’s business, functional and technical performance requirements
• Supporting documentation that meets customer and internal support & training requirements.
• Testing plan for development projects
• Trained end users
• Adherence to the agreed Project Plan
• System problem resolution
• Effective testing of other developers code

 
Salary is based on experience and will be between R600 K – R 700 K annual
