We developed a product called, Binary City Time over the course of approximately 2 - 3 years. The application is web-based; built on a variety of technologies. Binary City Time allows for Time & attendance, and Security (managing physical access control via web-based software) functionality via our cloud based application. Our main focus was ease of use, security and accuracy. The successful candidate(s) will be tasked with responsibilities surrounding the aforementioned application, ranging from user functionality, API development, supporting applications using Binary City Time's API, and etc.

We'd prefer the successful candidate(s) to sit at our head office, in Windhoek, Namibia, but am open to discuss a remote position - such as in our Midrand office.

Requirements

* Be passionate about software development and technology;
* 5+ years experience with PHP & MySQL;
* have a sound understanding of Object Oriented Programming;
* willing to learn and embrace critical feedback;
* willing and able to work in a team;
* willing to follow predetermined coding standards;
* carry out instructions efficiently and accurately;
* fluent in English.

Bonus skills

* Experience in financial programming;
* good understanding of design;
* business intelligence;
* experience with Microsoft C#;
* experience with Apple development, with more focus on app development, using the Swift language;
* experience with Android development.
