A world-renowned automotive company is seeking a Senior Specialist in Finance who will provide support in the budgeting, performance and management reporting processes, ensuring thorough analysis, accurate and on-time reporting.
The incumbent will have excellent numeracy skills and the ability to understand, analyse, interpret and fluently present financial data in a confident and professional manner to various stakeholders including executive management.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Process and Governance
- Identify and develop solutions for challenges in the relevant business area.
- Obtain, analyse and report on practices related to a value chain function to identify initiatives that will improve performance and compliance.
- Provide specialist advice and support in the analysis, development and implementation of best practices across multiple and/or single value chain(s).
- Provide, specialist advice and support towards the achievement of identified goals and targets.
- Compile and provide reports on performance related information to support decision making processes.
- Coordinate planning, performance and management reporting to determine quality improvement capacity building for all levels of business.
- Develop and submit reports to relevant internal and external stakeholders and reporting structures to ensure statutory and legal compliance.
- Ensure compliance to general recognised accounting practices and relevant international practices.
- Identify, define and monitor enterprise wide performance metrics and supplying the enterprise with necessary information for decision making.
- Investigate, analyse and develop organisational best practices, and ensure adherence to an operational framework of policies and procedures.

• Finance
- Extract, consolidate and analyse data, and produce reports to enable the optimal interrogation thereof to provide reliable management information.
- Manage high risk and problematic financial issues in area of accountability and contribute to the development of policy.
- Drive the preparation and measurement of performance against the annual Budget and updated Forecasts.

• Client/Customer Service
- Obtain and analyse client and/or service related information to identify practice optimisation initiatives.
- Plan and deliver services that create a culture which aims to exceed customer expectations in the business

Minimum Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years’ relevant financial experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
• Additional qualifications could include CA(SA), Completed SAICA Articles or CIMA (Management Level)
