Our client is searching for a Senior Structural Engineer for their offices in Johannesburg, South Africa. The successful candidate would be one who has strong Commercial Structural Design experience with Steel and Concrete.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Conducts assignments in the Structural Engineering field
• Plans, organizes and controls complex projects and makes recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems
• Prepares and presents technical reports, institutes changes in methods, design or equipment
• Work independently on projects and interface with client, architect, QS and other team members

Requirements:
• Registered as Pr. Eng with ECSA
• Minimum 4 years Commercial Structural Design experience
• Strong Structural (Steel and Concrete) design experience
• Commercial design experience
• Excellent people skills with clients and staff
• Locally based or good experience of the local market
