The Systems Engineer will primarily be responsible for performing day-to-day system management, implementing and maintaining required standards of Linux OS environment.

• Qualification/ Certification>ITIL v3 or MOF v4;
• Advanced Technical qualification for Accountable Service areas e.g. RHCE; CCNA
Knowledge, Skills, Experience>
• Broad vendor product knowledge;
• Experience with load balancing in support of shared service and application load balancing in a large environment with custom developed applications;
• Experience with design, implementation, troubleshooting and support of large networks consisting of Load Balancing, WAN and LAN;
• Must have experience with design and implementation of traffic optimization;
• Minimum of 1 Year experience in Infrastructure & Application Architecture;
• Minimum of 3 Years experience in IT Service Management functions (ITIL, MOF, ISO9000, ISO 27001/2);
• Minimum of 3 Years experience in Technical Solution Deployments;
• Minimum of 5 Years experience in Technical Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis;
• Advanced scripting will be beneficial.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Diagnose, investigate and resolve incidents and problems;
• Conduct request fulfilment;
• Execute pre-planned tasks as per documented instructions;
• Execute daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and as needed tasks as defined per technology/product;
• Perform predictable, repeatable and automated day-to-day system management and Support, Implement and Maintain Standards.
