Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Bachelors Degree / BTech in Industrial Engineering or Engineering in a technical discipline
- Minimum 10 years' maintenance experience essential
- Experience in the FMCG / Pharmaceutical environment will be an advantage
- Computer literate - MS Office, MS Projects and General Software Technologies
- Previous project management and general management experience essential

Responsibilities:
- Manage and improve equipment through maintenance plans
- Review analysis and report on maintenance performance
- Plan, schedule and administer maintenance plans
- Ensure compliance to company regulations
- Implement efficient maintenance strategies to ensure optimum equipment availability
- Manage and improve maintenance expenditure to ensure optimal life cycle of equipment outsourced to contractors
- Inspect and prioritize necessary repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance
- Perform diagnostics for repair of electrical and mechanical systems
- Influence plant efficiencies through LEAN principles and CIP, process, production and quality improvements
