Overview and Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for the correct issuing of work permits from the centralized permit office;
• Ensure adherence to the Air Products’ permit to work;
• Ensure all safety aspects are adhered to pertaining to the permit to work system;
• Ensure effective contractor management;
• To assist the manager with internal and external training programmes for Technicians;
• Performance of planned and unplanned maintenance activities as directed.

Essential Requirements
• Matric certificate with Maths and Science;
• NTC 2-4 or equivalent;
• Must be a Red Seal Trade tested artisan;
• Must have 3 years related supervisory experience;
• Minimum of 5 years high pressure cylinder filling depot maintenance experience;
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills;
• Must be computer literate and proficient in the MS Office Suite;
• Must be willing to work shifts and overtime as and when required;
• Must be willing to be on standby on weekends and public holidays;
• Valid unendorsed code 08 driver’s license;
