The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the preparation and testing of the internal systems while communicating all test issues effectively and executing procedures in order to arrive at the appropriate fix. You will need to manage the daily workload of a Tester and provide direction on projects.

Qualifications & Accreditations
• A relevant 3 year IT Degree or Diploma
• ISEB / ISTQB Certification

Experience & Skills
• Minimum of 4 years testing experience
• Experience in testing complex user interfaces
• Detailed knowledge of manual and automated testing
• Experience and understanding of structured test methods and processes
• Experience with testing tools like HP QC, HP QTP
• Experience of testing Windows Software Applications / Database applications produced using VB, C#, Access, SQL Server

• Conduct manual and automated tests on different software
• Implement approved test cases from developed test plans specific for software
• Provide input into testing standards, methodologies and processes

• Assist in the preparation of the test plans and test scripts for each software component to demonstrate the business condition under test and to see potential results
• Conduct testing for specified operational changes and this may require creating detailed test cases/scripts from the requirements
• Conduct testing for projects or enhancements when the need arises
• Build detailed test cases/scripts from a BRS, FRS or SDD when required
• Identify and investigate areas that require: further analysis; a decision and/or a development change
• Carry out adhoc tasks related to the test lead function when requested to do so, which may include: assisting with user training; input and reviewing of training material and/or reviewing of specifications
• Provide regular (agreed time-frame) feedback to the BA, PM and Development team through the agreed channels including reporting on defects and problem issues
Reporting
• Ensure that the work is carried out with the quality required and according to the predetermined schedule
• Report defects and problems that occurred during the test process
