Senior Trainer Technical/ICT Project officer

Job Purpose
To plan, design, coordinate, implement, manage and evaluate ICT Projects.

Key Responsibilities

Training and Administration
1. Plan and implement Sci-bono Technical Youth Development Program
2. Administration of Cisco IT Academy resources
3. Assist with management and administration of ICT Training network
4. Ensure the achievement of annual targets
5. Supervise and evaluate ICT staff: trainers, interns
6. Ensure the professional development of trainers and interns
7. Assist with procurement of hardware and software for assigned training programs
8. Responsible for preparation and submission of reports
9. Responsible for maintaining stakeholder relationships: DELL, Microsoft, Cisco, GCRA, ETDP SETA
10. Attending relevant ICT events i.e. annual conferences, meetings with partners and sponsors; ICT & Youth Development conferences
11. Quality Assurance of all assigned ICT programs.

ICT training
12. Deliver training to meet targets
13. Conduct trainee and program evaluations and assessments
14. Support trainees in preparation for exams
15. Prepare and submit reports

Minimum requirements
1.1 Education
• Formal qualification (Certificate, Diploma, Degree) in training
• Strong IT teaching/training credential will be advantageous
• IT qualification in technical hardware software and/or networking, programming , and/ or database design and management, and/or website design and management
• Required IT Technical Qualifications i.e. Cisco ITE & CCNA, Security, CompTIA A+ and network +
• Project management an advantage

1.2 Relevant work experience
• Experience in managing, facilitating or training of ICT programs
Technical Training in e.g. Cisco ITE & CCNA, CCNP, Security, CompTIA A+ AND Network+
• Experience in training management and administration advantageous
• Exposure to educational environment
• IT experience in technical hardware software and/or networking, programming and/or database design and management, and/ or website and management
• Project management experience advantageous
