The above hourly vacancy exists in the Technical Training Centre to meet the Company’s Training objectives by providing facilitation and assessments for Apprentice Programmes. To be an effective Training Officer with all-round plant knowledge and full understanding of all modules presented

Facilitation, assessment and moderation of apprentices and learners.
Conduct trade test testing/assessment
Maintain full accreditation to Safety Compliance and ISO 14001 Compliance
Innovative ideas in training to ensure cost reduction.
Ensure all training records comply with the National Auditing Systems.
Ad hoc Administration


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

N3 Trade Tested Millwright Artisan(Electrical and Mechanical, Electro-Mechanician)
Experience in training apprentices within the Mechanical / Electrical disciplines through levels 1-4, and up to and Including Trade Test level as well
as Artisan’s for “level up Training“ within the Mechanical / Electrical disciplines.
4/5 years “on the job “ experience essential
Experience in either, the Manufacturing Industry / Steel Industry / Aluminium Processing Industry / Paper and Pulp Industry / Packaging Industry,
and a clear understanding of / teaching Pneumatics / Hydraulics.
Assessor Certificate essential.
Facilitator Certificate essential.
Moderator Certificate advantageous.
