SENIOR TRAINING OFFICER (NON-TECHNICAL TRAINING), LIME ACRES (NORTHERN CAPE), RNEG, CV
• Grade 12
• National Certificate Occupational Directed ETDP Level 4
• National Higher Certificate Adult Basic Education and Training
• 3 years’ experience in a training environment
• Qualified Assessor
• Proficient in MS Office suite
• Valid Driver’s license
Key Performance Areas:
• Participate in accreditation related activities and processes
• Adhere to mine specific policies, procedures and process flows to regulate activities in area of responsibility
• Participate in recruitment selection of trainees (including psychometric assessments)
• Design and/or customise training interventions and material
• Provide information to compile mandatory HRD reports and plans (SLP, WSP/ATR, MC)
• Source and procure external training within area of responsibility
• Assess training interventions in area of responsibility
• Participate in the compilation of reports
• Conduct on the job coaching, where applicable
• Define training needs to ensure legal compliance of MHSA and other relevant legislation
• Develop mine specific procedures and process flows to regulate activities in area of responsibility
• Participate in drafting annual training plans and budgets to meet operations (TNA), regulatory commitments (SLP) including
• PDP/CDP’s (if applicable)
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders regarding the HRD process
• Evaluate and audit training system / initiatives in accordance with HRD quality management policy and ISO 9001 standard
• and SETA standards, where applicable
• Implement annual training plans to meet operational requirements (TNA) and SLP commitments using the relevant building
• blocks of the educational pipeline, in area of responsibility
• Implement relevant steps of the Talent Management Framework – i.e. succession planning (sourcing), induction (onboarding),
• learning and development
• Submit training records and assessment evidence in accordance with organisational guidelines
