Package
3 year Contract (Renewable)
• Single contract for unmarried candidates, while Family contract offered for married candidates.
• Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience.
• From 11400 up to 21000 QAR per month (depending on experience).
• 21 000 QAR is +/- 7800 AUD, 404 000 INR, 7800 CAD, 817 000 PKR, 83 000 ZAR, 6000 USD. Salary paid in QAR.
• Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
• Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
• Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
• School allowance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) for up to 3 children (ages 5- 18) per child per academic year provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha.
• 40 days paid annual vacation days.
• End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: (FULL TIME STUDIES ONLY)
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in Healthcare related field.

EXPERIENCE:
5 Years in transplant/donation services. Experience must include liver transplant coordination.

LICENCE:
Valid Primary license from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Ministry of Public Health.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in English - Oral and Written.
Arabic preferred.

Job Specification
Position Summary:
• The Senior Transplant Coordinator is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work-up and follow-up of organ transplant recipients and donors. Additionally, the senior transplant coordinator has primary responsibility to develop and revise policies, procedures and protocols for organ transplantation.

Principal Accountabilities:
• Supervise and coordinate all clinical aspects related to organ transplantation including pre-transplant
• Work-up for donors and recipients, waiting list follow-up and maintenance, organ procurement, and post- transplant follow-up
• Develop policies, procedures and protocols related to organ transplantation and facilitate its implementation.
• Train and oversee the performance of other clinical transplant coordinators and nurses.
• Supervise and coordinate all logical aspects related to organ transplantation including recipients, donors, families, medical, and administrative staff.
• Organize and prepare clinical meetings related to organ transplant recipients and donors.
• Supervise and coordinate outpatient clinics related to organ transplant recipients and donors.
• Develop and coordinate educational programs for transplant patients, families and nursing staff.
• Maintain records of pre-operative and post-operative patients, donors and waiting list.
• Liaises with physicians and transplant staff at other hospitals to exchange information, and to coordinate activities relate to transplantation.
• Communicate with respective national and international Transplant Foundations.
• Participate in the Hospital-wide Performance and improvement activities.
• Participate in the public education and donation Campaign activities.
• Follow all Hospital related policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by the program director based on mutual agreement.
