Senior Transportation and Traffic Engineer

A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm that provides a comprehensive range of services that include traditional consulting services with over 60 years’ experience is currently seeking to employ a Senior Transportation and Traffic Engineer to be permanently based in KwaZulu-Natal.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be a holder of a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering
Must have 8 – 12 years’ experience within a consulting transportation environment managing budgets, projects and people
Must have experience in modelling evaluations as well as concept route alignment of major roads
Must be registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist
Must have an excellent understanding of passenger demand and forecasting
Must be competent in public transport studies and integrated transport studies
