An International Engineering Company is seeking a Dynamic, Innovative and Target Driven Senior Engineer: Traffic Engineering and Transportation Planning who will be able to mentor and guide a team.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualifications, skills and experience
BSc/BEng Civil Engineering

Professional registration with ECSA is essential

Minimum of 10 years experience in traffic and transportation engineering with specialised experience in traffic engineering preferred

Proven track record in business development and generating new business

Sound project management experience

Excellent report writing and presentation skills

Proficiency in the application of traffic analysis software packages

Tender preparation and contract administration experience
Knowledge of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) will be beneficial

Job Specification
Main responsibilities
Project manage traffic engineering projects
Undertake traffic engineering and transport planning studies
Develop the service line in the Western Cape, including marketing, tendering, client liaison, product development and internal capacity building Integrate services with other region international partners.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in the fields of transportation and traffic engineering
Provide active mentoring and coaching of junior staff
Adhere to quality procedures
