Our client, a specialized business unit within the agricultural sector based in Stellenbosch has a vacancy for a Senior Web Developer to join their highly skilled and cutting-edge team.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Software Design: perform detailed systems analysis and software design that fits in with business requirements & identify possible test
scenarios
• Documentation: functional & technical specifications
• Work breakdown schedule: work within the schedule & provide feedback regarding progress
• Testing: identify & implement corrections and provide support to the Quality Assurance testing process
• Development: keep abreast of technology trends & implementation thereof; adhere to development processes and be responsible for custom
development; assist and review user documentation. Lead software development projects and document API interfaces
• Support: update ‘bug list; ensure that the latest version of code is checked into source control
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team in an agile environment
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and think outside of the box
• Self-motivated
• Passionate about web technologies

REQUIREMENTS:

• BSc, BTech or relevant degree qualification
• 5 - 10 years’ experience with proven projects
• Thorough knowledge and experience of:
Front-end (HTML, CSS, or React or Angular, Bootstrap)
Back-end (C# main programming language, Web API, Entity Framework)
Database (SQL and NoSQL, MySQL and Mongo DB)
• Must be able to work alone with little or no supervision and deliver projects within deadlines.
