JOB DESCRIPTION
Cartrack is looking for candidates that can fulfil the role of Senior Web Developer, and be part of a team delivering applications to a wide variety of customers. We’re looking for passionate people with relevant experience to help deliver world-class software solutions to our clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and HTML5
• Excellent knowledge of CSS processors
• Good understanding of simplified user-centric design
• Experience in/with one or more of the following will be advantageous:
o agile development methodologies
o distributed source control systems
o ReactJS and Redux
o mapping technologies
o git for version control
o performance/analytics tools for web applications
• Fanatical attention to detail, an ability to assimilate, sort and aggregate complex information quickly.
• Ability to deep dive into the technical details, but never be out of touch with business requirements
• Creative thinking backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong teamwork, co-ordination and planning, self-driven, and ability to work at pace in a dynamic organisation.
• Excellent time management
• Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Design and develop scalable, feature-rich web applications
• Consume RESTful/JSON services to power these applications
• Work with UX designers to implement the user-friendly solutions
• Introduce new technologies into the team based on fit and suitability to deliver a solution
• Be able to deep dive into the technical aspects needed for optimisation of web applications
