SKILL REQUIREMENT

• Proficient experience in writing solutions using the languages XHTML, PHP 4/5, Shell, SOAP/Rest/XML/JSON/oAuth, MySQL, Javascript, JQuery and CSS 2/3.
• Worked with version control such as SVN/GIT
• Code profiling and benchmarking
• W3C standard compliance for Responsive Design and cross browser compatibility
• Made use of Online APIs such as those offered by Google, Facebook, and Yahoo
• Used libraries such as PHPExcel, JPGraph, Zend, etc
• Interfacing with 3rd party software such as eRes, MyGate, iVeri, Tourplan (optional skills)
• Have experience in Dreamweaver, Eclipe, Netbeans, Notepad++ or similar for coding, SQL Manager or SQLyog, and Google tools
• Worked with both Apache and IIS web servers
• Proficiency at Photoshop (for at least PSD manipulation to xHMTL & CSS) and used Paint.NET
• Setup, configured and customised CMS, E-commerce and framework solutions such as Joomla, WordPress, OSCommerce, Magento (the more the better)
• Developed Mobile Web / Native Apple, Android & Blackberry 6/10 Application Development (would be a plus)
• Experience in Java developments (would be a plus)

DUTIES / JOB SPECIFICATION
• Develop, maintain and support of our web based products, CRM and custom solutions.
• A firm understanding and flair to explore and utilise the latest web technologies and best practices
• Understand the goals and strategy behind each Project from conception through completion
• Maintain existing codebase to include troubleshooting bugs and adding new features
• Write reusable code preferably using classes and libraries
• Must have a good understanding of databases and must be able to simplify data flow
• Ability to bring new skills and processes to the company
• Contribute towards implementing structure, methodologies, to continually help improve and streamline existing in-house working practices

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Three to five years PHP OO/Procedural Programming experience working on a various environments
• Three to five years MySQL experience
• Experience with Web2.0/HTML5 using JQuery and/or Prototype
• Must have worked with various frameworks (PHP or other) and CMS solutions
• Three year diploma, degree or equivalent working experience from a recognised institution
